Created in 1988 for Marjory Harris, this steep hillside garden on Mount Davidson, San Francisco's highest hill, is now owned by the Arks.

Ted Kipping's garden on Mount Davidson in San Francisco features a multitude of microclimates and a large rare plant collection.

In 1991 a firestorm destroyed thousands of homes in the Oakland Hills. The next day, a couple contacted Harland Hand to create a garden while they rebuilt their house.
