Created in 1988 for
Marjory Harris, this steep hillside garden on Mount Davidson, San
Francisco's highest hill, is now owned by the Arks.

In 1991 a
firestorm destroyed thousands of homes in the Oakland Hills. The next
day, a couple contacted Harland Hand to create a garden while they
rebuilt their house.
